What type of renovation work do we specialize in?

We do a wide range of renovation works, such as HDB flats and executive apartments, private residential ranging from studios to penthouses, commercial premises like offices and shop space. Provide us your floor plan and a brief description of the work that is required, we will be glad to arrange an appointment and prepare an initial quotation specifically for you.

Will I be obligated to engage your services after arranging for a meeting or on-site quotation?


The on-site evaluation is a zero commitment discussion and assessment. We believe in a mutual and trusting relationship with our clients. If for some reasons you decided to not engage us, we will be glad you have at least given us the opportunity in the first place.

What information and details do I need to provide in order to get a quotation?

As much as possible, try to provide us with the following:

  • Name, contact number and email
  • Renovation requirement:

a)      Brief renovation details

b)      Concept idea if you have one in mind

c)      Key collection date if applicable

d)      Preferred date of completion

e)      A budget you would like us to work on

  • Property information:

a)      A copy of floor plan of the property

b)      Size of the property (Property type and area size)

 

How long does the renovation work take?

Once the design has been finalized, we can give you a good estimate of how long the renovation work will take. As a guideline, renovations take several weeks to several months depending on many factors including the level of detail, size and complexity of the project. What is the payment term like?


There will be a collection of 10% of the contract amount upon confirmation of the contract, followed by 40% upon commencement of work, 45% upon measurement of carpentry and lastly 5% upon the completion of work.

What is the mode of payment accepted?

We accept the following mode of payment:

  • Cheque
  • Nets
  • Cash

We would encourage payment by cheque to Kaleido Interior LLP. Payment by cash must be made personally at office counter. A copy of receipt will be issued upon receiving any payment. Please check with your designer otherwise.

Housing & Development (Renovation Control) Rules 2006

The Housing & Development (Renovation Control) Rules 2006 require flat owners to engage an HDB Registered Renovation Contractor to carry out renovation in the flat. 

The following are offences, upon conviction, could lead to a fine up to $5,000 and other penalties:

The Housing & Development (Composition of Offences) Rules allow HDB to compound offences committed under the Housing & Development Rules. If the offenders fail to pay the composition sum, they will be prosecuted in Court.
